Dialoguing With Trees: Two Chestnut Trees in Ørstedsparken

Participants were invited to hang out at Ørstedsparken, Copenhagen with two Horse Chestnut trees and myself on September 5th, 2019 from mid-afternoon until the sunset. We worked individually and collectively through conversation, silent observation and physical interaction with the trees. We then shared our understanding and appreciation of this ecosystem and bore witness to the complexity and beauty of the these trees and the other living beings around us.

On October 6th, my observations gathered from the previous day, were expressed through a performance at the Copenhagen Contemporary Museum with my body, memory and accumulated knowledge of the participants.
